Classical:NEXT is expanding its offerings and introducing Film Showcases as part of its programme. Recognising the value and importance of visual media in shaping the future of classical and art music, they highlight how filmmakers, composers, and performers are collaborating to reach audiences in innovative ways.

Since 2012, Classical:NEXT has been the hub for networking, discovery and exchanging ideas for all sectors and regions of the classical music ecosystem. With the addition of Film Showcases, opportunities are widened for both delegates and first-time filmmakers, producers, distributors, and digital creators who seek new partnerships and connections across the industry. Whether you’re looking to find sync licensing opportunities, or discover new composers, ensembles and arts organisations open to multimedia collaborations, Berlin is the place to be.

Beyond the Film Showcases, the Classical:NEXT Expo, Conference, and Showcase Festival offer deep insights into industry trends and key questions, from sustainability and audience engagement to new media innovations. With over 1,400 professionals from 49 countries attending the 2024 edition, Classical:NEXT is the event for building partnerships, gaining inspiration, and staying ahead of the evolving landscape of music and media.
