Fado with Gisela

One of the highlights includes "Fado with Gisela," featuring the celebrated artist Gisela João. João redefines Fado, a traditional Portuguese music genre, infusing it with modern sensibilities while maintaining its soulful core. Her smoky voice and heartfelt performances imbue Fado with a new sense of Weltschmerz, melancholy, and hope.
Forbidden Dance
IMZ International Music + Media Centre
Israeli choreographer Nir and Syrian dancers Medhat, Mouafak and Haidar craft a bold Israeli-Syrian dance show, addressing Middle Eastern conflicts.
Kaguyahime
IMZ International Music + Media Centre
The ballet "Kaguyahime," choreographed by Jo Kanamori for the Tokyo Ballet, will also be featured. This performance combines Romantic and Narrative traditions, centering on the story of Kaguyahime, a Moon princess with a mystical origin. The ballet is a visual and emotional spectacle, exploring themes of beauty, love, and otherworldly connections.
