All tickets are now on sale for the 12th annual San Francisco Dance Film Festival (SFDFF). From October 15-24, 2021, global audiences can enjoy streaming access to a rich lineup of over 100 dance films streaming through Marquee TV.

Several feature-length films are available to stream, offering a rich mix of narrative and documentary selects. NATYAM is a visually stunning Bollywood film that tells the story of Sitara, a passionate classical dancer who embarks on a journey of self-discovery in her quest to learn to perform the ‘Story of Kadhambari.’ CAN YOU BRING IT: BILL T. JONES AND D-MAN IN THE WATERS explores the enduring legacy of a tour de force ballet created by Bill T. Jones at the height of the AIDS epidemic. And FIRESTARTER: THE STORY OF BANGARRA tells the story of how three young Aboriginal Australian brothers turned a dance company into a First Nations cultural powerhouse.

Ten programmes of international short dance films from 25 countries stream globally on Marquee TV. Highlights include SCREENSCAPES, featuring dance in unusual and daring new places unique to the screen; THE NEXT STAGE, showcasing ballet and contemporary dance stars in bold new films; and LEAVING LEGACIES, honoring the impact of storied dance teachers and traditions through four documentary shorts. Fans around the world can purchase an online shorts program pass for only $45, granting access to all 10 online shorts programmes.
