The IMZ is proud to formally welcome Hannes Schalle – Austrian born director, writer, producer + film-composer – to its network.
Hannes Michael Schalle is an Austrian-born director, writer, producer and film composer.
He has created and produced over 50 fiction and non-fiction film productions, composed over 70 film scores, produced hundreds of music videos for the major record labels, and even his own music TV show, "Classic Cuts" for ZDF / 3sat. Schalle has worked with multiple Grammy, Emmy and Tony-winning artists & actors and is also an elected member of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
Besides his feature productions, he also directed commercials for the likes of UBS, Deutsche Telekom, Chanel, Samsung and, most recently, the "Star Wars. Made GREAT in Britain" campaign.
His production label, Moonlake Entertainment, is situated in the UK, Germany and Austria and and is known for its numerous productions sold worldwide – such as “Lauda - The Untold Story”, “The Green Hell”, “Silent Night - A Song For The World”, “Karajan The Maestro and his Festival”, “Beethoven X – The AI Project“ and many more.
He is currently in production of his latest music-themed show, “The Sounds Of Music Revisited,” in Los Angeles and Salzburg.
