IMZ Academy Expert Session
In the course of the ITF Golden Prague, the IMZ is hosting an IMZ Academy Session on Friday, 24 Sept on innovating the future of classical music TV.
Innovating the future of classical music TV
As public-service broadcasters across Europe are redesigning their content slates to appeal to the full cross-session of the societies they serve, classical music can find itself marginalized, as more popular, contemporary genres allow broadcasters to reach wider audiences more effectively.
The purpose of this panel is to share key topics + opinions on the future of classical music within public-service broadcasters’ content strategies. Main questions are:
- How can broadcasters and producers innovate to present classical music in new ways which appeal to wide cross-sections of their audiences, and in particular young audiences?
- What can be learned from music streamers, YouTubers?
- What is the future of live ‘event’ broadcast in an on-demand world?
Please note that this IMZ Academy Session is exclusively for IMZ + EBU Members.
