Submission for the 61st edition of the Golden Prague Festival, showcasing the best in television arts worldwide, is still open. This prestigious festival is regarded as one of the most significant events in the television arts industry.
Golden Prague is one of the oldest television festivals globally, attracting filmmakers and television professionals from around the world each year.
Programmes in the competition are categorised as follows:
● Documentary programmes dedicated to music, dance, and theatre.
● Recordings of stage work, including operas, operettas, musicals, dance, ballets, and theatre performances.
● Recordings of concert performances, such as symphonic/orchestral performances, chamber music, and recitals.
In addition to individual programmes, the Golden Prague Festival also accepts individual parts of series or cycles for the competition if they can be judged on their own merit.
Winners receive prestigious prizes, including the Grand Prix Golden Prague, considered one of the most significant awards in the television arts industry.
The Golden Prague Festival serves as a vital platform for filmmakers and television content creators worldwide, allowing them to showcase their work and gain recognition for their creative efforts. The festival also facilitates international networking and the exchange of ideas among industry experts from various fields.
