The Arthaus Musik classical music catalogue contains more than 700 hours of music and features productions from the beginning of the 1990s until today. Outstanding conductors, such as Claudio Abbado, Lorin Maazel, Giuseppe Sinopoli and Sir Georg Solti, as well as world-famous singers like Plácido Domingo, Brigitte Fassbaender, Marylin Horne, Eva Marton, Luciano Pavarotti, Cheryl Studer and Dame Joan Sutherland put their stamp on this voluminous catalogue, alongside legendary and world renowned dancers and choreographers like Ji?í Kylián, Mats Ek, Hans van Manen and Maguy Marin and dance companies such as The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, the Dance Theatre of Harlem, The English National Ballet, The Dutch National Ballet, The Nederlands Dans Theater and The Cullenberg Ballet. The productions were recorded at the world’s most renowned opera houses, among them Wiener Staatsoper, San Francisco Opera House, Teatro alla Scala, the Salzburg Festival and the Glyndebourne Festival.
