The Summer Night’s Gala in Grafenegg
One of the bench marks of Austria's cultural summer brought to the viewers at home.
The Summer Night’s Gala in Grafenegg has become the epitome of festive joie de vivre in Austria within just a few years.
In 2018, soprano Pretty Yende from South Africa and tenor Joseph Calleja from Malta will sing in front of the fairytale setting next to Grafenegg Castle, Lower Austria. As a third soloist, the upcoming young cellist Harriet Krijgh is to be experienced, who not only completed her studies in Austria, but also became known through performances at her own festival at Burg Feistritz and in the Vienna Musikverein.
The Tonkünstler-Orchester Niederösterreich will once again be under the baton of its Principal Conductor Yutaka Sado.
The TV production will be once again in the hands of Heidelinde Haschek.
