Rossini’s birthday
Happy birthday Rossini! His best works on demand on fidelio.
Gioachino Rossini is one of the poor souls whose birthday falls on 29 February – hence it's only every 4 years. For this somewhat rare occasion of his birthday, fidelio will remember him and his masterpieces in its collection.
Enjoy his best operas such as “La Cenerentola” with Juan Diego Florez from the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, “L’italiana in Algeri” with Cecilia Bartoli from the Salzburg Festival, “Guglielmo Tell” from the Tiroler Festspielen in Erl, opera film “Il Barbiere di Siviglia” by Jean-Pierre Ponnelle just to name a few. These operas and documentaries and numerous concerts are available in fidelio’s collection.
