Verdi’s “Simon Boccanegra” starring Luca Salsi, Marina Rebeka, René Pape and Charles Castronovo, conducted by Valery Gergiev, Mozart’s “Idomeneo”, conducted by Teodor Currentzis, in a critically acclaimed staging by Peter Sellars, the extravagant production of Offenbach’s “Orphée Aux Enfers” and the LIVE concert with Bernard Haitink and the Vienna Philharmonic (now available on demand on Fidelio).
Last but definitely not least, the concert of Martha Argerich and Daniel Barenboim with The West-Eastern Divan Orchestra is also available on demand on fidelio. The programme includes Schubert’s Symphony No. 7 in B minor, D. 759 “Unfinished”, Tchaikovsky’s Concerto for Piano and Orchestra No. 1 in B flat minor, op. 23 and Lutoslawski’s Concerto for Orchestra.
