In May, Accentus Music will release four new box sets, featuring Riccardo Chailly, Andris Nelsons and great interpretations of Bach's cantatas.

These new Accentus Music releases comprise excellent releases that are available separately in enticing box sets.

One DVD and Blu-ray box set documents Andris Nelson's work with two unique orchestras: the Lucerne Festival Orchestra and the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig.

Celebrating his 70th birthday, a box set shows the different facets of Riccardo Chailly's life, including the documentary Music – A Journey For Life, the first ever film portrait of the Italian maestro, a recording of “La Bohème” at the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía in Valencia, as well as two concert recordings with the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig and soloist Nikolaj Znaider and the Lucerne Festival Orchestra.

A third box set documents Riccardo Chailly's first years as principal conductor of the Lucerne Festival Orchestra featuring his inaugural concert with Mahler's 8th Symphony as well as music by Mendelssohn, Tchaikovsky, Ravel and Rachmaninoff.

A 3-CD box set features interpretations of Johann Sebastian Bach's cantatas by outstanding choirs, orchestras, and soloists, among which feature the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin with Michael Volle, the Gaechinger Cantorey, as well as the Saxon Baroque Orchestra and St. Thomas Choir Leipzig conducted by 17th Thomaskantor Gotthold Schwarz.
