Scandal has been a part of popular music, but arguably the most shocking of all musical youth movements was the punk scene. Campino, frontman of the legendary band Die Toten Hosen is presenting this pop cultural pilgrimage and shows us his London, sharing his knowledge and first hand experiences as he guides us around the battlegrounds of that first punk conflict zone, meets the surviving warriors and expert insiders such as Tony James, Charlie Harper, Viv Albertine, Julien Temple, Chris Sullivan, TV Smith and Bob Geldof.

London’s Burning introduces viewers to the movers and shakers of that scene and investigates what punk means today: high fashion museum exhibitions, commoditized heritage for nostalgic London tourists or a real revolutionary force.

New Accentus Release: Vincenzo Bellini – I Capuleti E I Montecchi Opernhaus Zürich

Accentus Music

Romeo and Juliet without the balcony scene? A woman who sings the role of Romeo? Vincenzo Bellini's opera I Capuleti e i Montecchi, which premiered in Venice at the Teatro La Fenice in 1830, is remarkable in many aspects – not only the piece in itself, but also Zurich’s production by Christof Loy, who transfers the 13th century plot from Verona into a Mafia milieu from the 1950s.
