Under the baton of Sir Simon Rattle, the London Symphony Orchestra open the evening with Bela Bartók's energetic Music for Strings, Percussion and Celesta, before constructing a vast cathedral of sound in the second half. With Rattle at the helm, Anton Bruckner's Sixth is guaranteed to be a major event of unrivaled power.
This concert also marks the beginning of a new exclusive cooperation between takt1 and the Philharmonie Luxembourg. More live stream concert highlights from Luxembourg will be announced shortly.
