Director of the Seefestspiele Mörbisch Peter Edelmann is inviting us all to “travel to faraway China!” – directly from Lake Neusiedl.
This year’s operetta “Das Land des Lächelns” (The Land of Smiles) by Franz Lehár will deliver an abundance of unforgettable melodies such as “Dein ist mein ganzes Herz” and “Immer nur lächeln”. Experience the touching love story between Lisa, a girl from Vienna, and Chinese prince Sou-Chong who are challenged by different cultures and social conventions.
“Das Land des Lächelns” is perhaps the most passionate of all the operettas and never fails to touch the hearts of every member of the audience,” explains Peter Edelmann who guarantees us “an evening full of romance and powerful emotions.”
