dancescreen, organised triennially by the IMZ International Music + Media Centre, is one of the most prestigious international dance film competitions. For 2022, we joined forces with Cinedans, the only organisation in the Netherlands dedicated entirely to the presentation, development + international distribution of dance film.

The 16th edition of dancescreen will take place in partnership with Cinedans FEST from 22 - 26 June 2022 in Amsterdam (NL), aiming at selecting + presenting the best and latest international dance shorts, documentaries, features + performance relays in the cinema + online.

Do you want to take part in the dancescreen competition? Submit your dance film by 31 January 2022 and present your Short Films, Live Performance Relays + Camera Rework on the international stage and meet the global dance + media industries. For this edition, the submission runs through the Cinedans FEST Entry Portal.

We can't wait to see you in June 2022!
