"The Labèque Way" follows these unique artists as they trace their Basque roots, playing Ravel´s "Bolero" with traditional basque percussion, premiering a daring new concerto “Nazareno” which they had commissioned and participating in diverse artistic and personal adventures. Featuring friends and collaborators such as Sir Simon Rattle, Semyon Bychkov and Alessandro Baricco among others, the film includes amazing performances of works by Mozart, Schubert, Ravel, Albeniz, Golijov and Gershwin.
