Mariss Jansons and the "Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks" present a sparkling festival of musical treasures at their New Year’s Eve Concert live from the Herkulessaal in Munich.

The musical journey leads us through Europe, America and Asia, ranging from Brahms and Dvorák to Mascagni and Leonard Bernstein with his “Candide” overture.

Special guest of the evening is Lang Lang, who will perfom the enchanting Andante of Mozart’s Piano Concerto KV 467 as well as a thrilling sample of the popular Chinese “Yellow River” piano concerto.

Host of the evening is Thomas Gottschalk.
