The digital 2021 Mozart Week combines everything the world’s greatest Mozart festival has stood for since 1956. Large-scale orchestral concerts, select chamber-music gems and special concert formats with top Mozart performers who illuminate the great composer’s manifold cosmos, among them living legends like Daniel Barenboim, Cecilia Bartoli or Martha Argerich as well as rising stars like Giedrė Šlekytė, Emmanuel Tjeknavorian or the Quartour Van Kuijk. A special highlight was the world premiere of a work by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart with renowned pianist Seong-Jin Cho, performing the Allegro in C Major, and 94 seconds of a reconstructed work in the Great Hall oft he prestigious Mozarteum for the very first time...
