In his seventy-year career, Quincy Jones has arranged, composed, produced and orchestrated for America's most legendary artists: Louis Armstrong, Sarah Vaughan, Ray Charles, Barbra Streisand, Dinah Washington, Stevie Wonder, Ella Fitzgerald, Miles Davis, Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson and many others.

Be-bop, jazz, funk, bossa nova, hip-hop ... he commands all styles, and his musical journey has been marked by hits: Thriller, Billie Jean, Fly Me to the Moon, You don't own me ... But the accolades extend beyond music, and into cinema and television: Quincy Jones also distinguished himself in the composition of music for films that have become emblematic of their eras. The Color Purple (1986), The Wiz (1978), Pawnbroker (1964), Ironside ...

The winner of multiple Grammy Awards and an Oscar, Quincy Jones also composed one of the world's best-selling singles: “We Are the World” in 1985, a song for charity, and produced one of the most iconic albums of all time: Thriller, performed by Michael Jackson.

Quincy Jones is a pioneer: the first African-American to write a song for cinema, to be nominated for an Oscar for best original song, or to hold the position of vice-president of a label (Mercury in 1961).
A trailblazer who commands respect and has paved the way for entire new generations: Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar ... the list goes on.
