Golden Prague Festival 2019 Call for Entries
Have you recently shot a film dedicated to music, dance or theatre? You can now register to the Golden Prague Festival competition!
Competition does not scare you? Do you believe in yourself, your skills and you want to cross the boundaries of your work? If you recently shot a film dedicated to music, dance or theatre and it is longer than five minutes, stop hesitating.
Get on the Golden Prague Festival website, complete an application and send your film to a competition for a prestigious award. Only programmes created or premiering in 2018 and 2019 may enter the competition.
You can register to the Golden Prague Festival competition from 1 April until 30 June 2019. Conditions of participation can be found in the Festival Statute. It is more than easy to register and upload a competing film. All you need is just a few clicks in our online registration form.
This year we compete in three categories:
1) DOCUMENTARY PROGRAMMES DEDICATED TO MUSIC, DANCE AND THEATRE
2) RECORDINGS OF STAGE WORK (recordings of operas, operettas, musicals, dance, ballets, theatre performances etc.)
3) RECORDINGS OF CONCERT PERFORMANCE (symphonic/orchestral performances, chamber music, recitals etc.)
In addition to individual programmes Golden Prague International Television Festival also accepts individual parts of series or cycles for the competition, if it is possible to judge them on their own merit.
And don't forget that the overall winner gets a cheque for 10,000 Euro!

In Memorian Juha Vakkuri

Our colleague and friend Juha Vakkuri died of cancer on 8 March 2019. Juha had worked at Yle The Finnish Broadcasting Company for many years and was a true IMZ Member. We thank Aarno Cronvall and Hazel Wright for sharing their memories of Juha with us and our thoughts go out to his family, friends and colleagues!
