Fedora Digital Prize 2021: Online Shortlist Announcement
The shortlisted projects for the FEDORA Digital Prize will be up for public voting from 1 February 2021 on, with the IMZ taking part in the judging as Expert Partner.
In 2019, the IMZ joined forces with FEDORA, the platform aiming at nurturing European innovation + creativity and at increasing the reach and accessibility of opera + ballet.
The FEDORA Digital Prize intends to encourage artistic innovation in opera + ballet through digital experimentation and to advocate new ways of interactions with audiences using digital tools and performance. Furthermore, the goal is also to stimulate new collaborative approaches through digital innovation across different media. Last but not least, the FEDORA Digital Prize supports the winning project with 50,000€. IMZ Members were invited to submit their projects as an exlusive Membership benefit.
The IMZ will select the projects to be published online on 1 February 2021, 18:00 CET, for the call for public votes. The final nominees will engage in fundraising campaigns as of April, with FEDORA supporting them. Finally, the final winners will be announced during the Award Ceremony this Summer.
Stay tuned + be inspired by the next generation of talent by following FEDORA Platform!
