Together the musical world will make a powerful statement on climate and environmental protection and on global sustainable development through your own commitment and with your interpretation and engagement with Ludwig van Beethoven’s ‘Pastoral’ Symphony - for a better world, for all of us!

Join the worldwide network and register on the project homepage. Play the ‘Pastoral’ on June 5, 2020, the World Environment Day of the United Nations. Combine the performance with a statement on environmental protection and commitment to the goals of the Paris climate agreement. Visualize your interpretation and upload a video of the performance to the homepage of the project in order to make your contribution globally tangible.

If you are unable to perform your ‘Pastoral’ on June 5, 2020, you can do so at another time between the 2018 and 2020 World Environment Days. In addition to classical performances, creative, artistic engagements (adaptation, composition, crossover projects) with the pastoral topic are welcome.

The project is supported by António Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nation.
