Poorhouse International is proud to announce that the theatrical version on Reiner Moritz’ documentary “Anton Bruckner – The Making of a Giant” has been released in 24 cinemas in Germany and will also be launched in Austria shortly. As there is a complete English version we invite interested parties to contact us.
The director had the good luck to be able to draw on clips from the Telmondis Bruckner Cycle by Valery Gergiev and the Munich Phil recorded at St. Florian over the last three years and was able to assemble a formidable array of Bruckner experts to talk about the life and career of the composer and demonstrate his powers as an improviser on the organ.
Bruckner’s music on the big screen with state of the art sound is an exciting event not to be missed.
