In memoriam Bob Lockyer
The longtime BBC Director of Dance will be sorely missed.
It is with a heavy heart that the IMZ announces the passing of our long-time friend and colleague, Bob Lockyer OBE, in June. A tireless champion of dance on screen, Lockyer was best known as the BBC’s Director of Dance for many decades, where he sought new ways of promoting the art form; we were fortunate to collaborate with him many times over the years, particularly on our own dance film competition, dancescreen.
