Hera Hyesang Park released her second Deutsche Grammophon album, Breathe, in 2023 which focuses on spiritual, meditative arias and songs. Breathe reflects the soprano’s determination to embrace life, let go of grief and approach every day with gratitude. This personal approach led to a choice of music including classics by Rossini, Verdi, Massenet and more, besides recent works by contemporary composers.

In April 2024 she performed music from the album in the legendary Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires. With music ranging across the centuries drawing from opera and song, the programme is not just a showcase of Hera’s artistry but also comes together to form a compelling musical whole, performed in one of the world’s greatest opera houses.
