Embracing Music's Constancy Amidst Changing Times: Join in for a Profound Webinar.
European Music Council
6 September 2023
As times change, we change. Sometimes we change faster than our times, and sometimes time changes faster than us. Recently it often seems, that time changes faster than its people. And so we have to look at the constants, that will prevail. One of those constants for sure is, and will always be: the harmony of music that intrinsically carries our culture, that reverberates through the most chaotic episodes, that harmonizes a disorganized mind and lets us feel, what we may have forgotten.
For this reason, the education of music is of big importance, to carry and reshape that what has been disharmonised.
The forthcoming webinar, “Changing Times: Music (Education) Still Matters” gathers honoured professionals from the field of music education, to share their insight in upcoming challenges confronting musical education today.
This is an inclusive event, warmly welcoming all interested participants. Share the link with those who share a passion for the transformative power of music.
The Speakers will include:
Marina Gall President European Association for Music in Schools,
Stefan Gies Chief Executive Association Européenne des Conservatoires, Académies de Musique et Musikhochschulen,
Sonja Greiner Secretary General European Choral Association,
Till Skorupa Secretary General European Music School Union,
Blasko Smilevski Executive Director Jeunesses Musicales International
