Outstanding soloists such as Philippe Jaroussky, Bryn Terfel, Pavol Breslik, Hanna-Elisabeth Müller, Ensemble Praetorius et al. and the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester under the baton of Thomas Hengelbrock explore the possibilities of the Elbphilharmonie’s acoustics in a refined programme that spans across musical eras from the Renaissance to the present (works by Beethoven, Britten, Caccini, Cavalieri, Liebermann, Messiaen, Praetorius, Rihm, Wagner, Zimmermann).
