Digital BTHVN2020 Projects
The coronavirus affects many events planned for the Beethoven anniversary year 2020. Some project partners and organisers now offer digital possibilities.
Nobody expected this. In the Beethoven anniversary year 2020, of all years, the Corona crisis ensures that numerous projects and events planned for such a long time cannot take place. Until the end of August, no major events will be held in North Rhine-Westphalia or anywhere else in Germany.
In order to bridge the missing months, there is only one thing that helps: to make as much culture as possible available online and transfering it to the internet. For this reason, some organizers of BTHVN2020 have already prepared their program digitally.
From online workshops and daily music performances to virtual city tours and museum visits: On the BTHVN2020 website you will find an overview of all offers. The site is constantly being expanded and provides a summary of the projects available online during this diverse anniversary year.
