It’s been a long road: After an exciting crowdfunding campaign, the winner of the FEDORA Digital Prize has been chosen alongside the other three winners of the FEDORA Prizes Biennale, receiving their accolade on 10 February in Paris!
Selected from three worthy finalists, The Sound Voice Project: Exhibition V led by Britten Pears Arts (UK) won the jury over with its unique series of immersive digital opera installations for flexible, interactive spaces exploring voice and identity:
Co-created with interdisciplinary partners in healthcare, technology, science and
biomedical research, and people with lived experience of voice loss.
The FEDORA Digital Prize will fund the winning project with €50,000, as well as granting the support of project partner Kearney.
The IMZ International Music + Media Centre has been a partner and participant in the judging process for FEDORA’s Digital Prize since 2019, keeping with our commitment to fostering innovation + creativity in the performing arts film industry. Created to promote new ways of artistic expression and digital access to opera + ballet.
Thank you again to the three finalists and Congratulations to Britten Pears Arts for their amazing project!
