Call for Entries: International Emmy® Awards
The 2026 International Emmy® Award Competition officially opened on 8 December 2025 and will remain open for submissions until 31 January 2026. Broadcasters, producers and creators from around the world are now invited to submit their best television programmes and performances for consideration in this prestigious global competition.
Presented annually by the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, the International Emmy® Awards celebrate excellence in television programming produced and initially broadcast outside the United States. In addition to recognising outstanding storytelling and production values across diverse genres, from drama and documentary to comedy and news, the Academy also honours U.S. primetime programmes produced predominantly in non-English languages.
Each year the competition attracts submissions from a broad range of countries, reflecting the rich creative diversity of global television. Winners are revealed at the International Emmy® Awards Gala, a key moment on the industry calendar that brings together leading figures in television arts and sciences from across the world.
