Zagreb Classic, now a staple of the capital’s cultural scene, was founded in 2016 and has since captivated Zagrebians of all ages. For the first time, the IMZ International Music + Media Centre was proud to contribute to this extraordinary event with a curated film programme.

From 27-29 June, attendees could enjoy screenings of two productions at King Tomislav Square, one of Zagreb's most beloved landmarks.

The film programme featured the Salzburg Festival 2022's rendition of The Magic Flute and the Bavarian State Opera 2023's production of Die Fledermaus. Judging by the number of attendees, many took this rare opportunity to experience world-class operatic performances under the open skies of Zagreb.

This project was carried out in collaboration with Stage Media Productions
