Cantata for Prince Alois I. von Liechtenstein
28. August, 2022, 11:00
Vaduzer Saal, Vaduz, Liechtenstein

This August, the eyes of the music world will be watching the Duchy of Liechtenstein: For its grand finale, the prestigious Vaduz Classic Festival will play a recently discovered piece by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart – for the first time ever in public!

Uncovered by Austrian conductor and composer Heinz Prammer in 2019, the Cantata for Prince Alois I. von Liechtenstein (KV Anh. 242) is the only work in the Köchel catalogue to have never been performed before an audience until now. For this momentous occasion, Prammer himself will conduct the Sinfonieorchester Liechtenstein alongside the Philharmonia Chor Wien and soloists Slávka Zámečníková and Mario Zeffiri, closing out the fifth Vaduz Classic in amazing fashion.
