This was the IMZ Music Film Festival Summer
The IMZ is happy to have contributed to an exciting cultural summer for residents + visitors of Vienna, Yekaterinburg and Brno!
The IMZ is thrilled to have contributed programming to the following music film festivals and engagde new audiences + performing arts lovers with stellar productions. Of course, the festivals took place in compliance with the safety regulations in the respective countries.
The largest festival of its kind, the Film Festival at Vienna Rathausplatz (AT), kicked off on 4 July and took place until 6 September 2020. The event featured an eclectic music + dance programme, including operas over musicals to classical concerts as well as world music, jazz and pop concerts. Furthermore, this year placed a special focus on Ludwig van Beethoven's 250th anniversary!
Inspired by the Film Festival at Vienna Rathausplatz, the Vienna Music Film Festival in Yekaterinburg (RU) will celebrated its 11th edition this year. The festival took place from 29 July until 12 August and presented monumental music films to dazzle new audiences and performing arts film lovers alike.
The Music Film Festival in Brno (CZ) is magically set in the Spilberk Castle and part of the Spilberk International Music Festival by the Brno Philharmonic Orchestra. The festival, which included music films as well as live performances, ran from 11-21 August and was, as always, a hugely popular celebration for the people of Brno as well as the entire surrounding region.
