The nights are cool and long and so people flock together at the darker hours of the days. What better way to experience a night in the city as to encounter some of the greatest musical performances of mankind under open air.
On the 1 July the IMZ kicked off the Vienna Film Festival for an unforgettable celebration of music, opera, and film. Prepare yourself to be delighted by 300 square meters of screen and sounds from some of your dearest artists.
Be mesmerized by Mozart's "The Magic Flute," Puccini's opera masterpiece "Tosca," and Beethoven's powerful "Fidelio." Enjoy electrifying performances by Eric Clapton, the Black Eyed Peas, Sting, and Seiler und Speer.
Immerse yourself in Vivaldi's enchanting "Four Seasons" and witness the unique fusion of classical music and comedy with Igudesman & Joo's "Rachmaninoff Will Survive." For young audiences, the Kinderopernfestival offers an interactive introduction to the magic of opera.
