The Berliner Philharmoniker launched their Digital Concert Hall with the desire to bring people all over the world together through music. Today, with 50 live broadcasts per season, 800 archive concerts, numerous films, interviews, and more, it brings you closer to the orchestra than ever before – any time and anywhere, in outstanding audio and video quality.
This year, the Berliner Philharmoniker are honouring a very special friendship: Daniel Barenboim – an exceptional artist both as a pianist and conductor – has appeared with the orchestra for 60 years. A limited DVD/Blu-ray edition is dedicated to this partnership and includes an exclusive first release alongside works by Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Elgar and Verdi.
