Our aim is to give interested parties access to current dance productions, films, documentaries, and background information. tanz:digital is the result of collaboration between dance makers, choreographers, dance institutions, dance archives and many other dance enthusiasts.
With tanz:digital we offer a digital platform that focuses on the interplay between dance, media and technologies. Dance productions that experiment with motion capturing processes, play with avatars on stage or can be experienced in virtual space show innovative ways of bringing together physical presence and abstract digitality.
tanz:digital is created through the collaboration of dance makers, choreographers, dance institutions, dance archives and many other dance enthusiasts. An editorial team will establish connections between the contemporary and the historical, research topics and involve the community in the design. tanz:digital will become a central streaming and knowledge platform for the dance scene in Germany. Our aim is to give interested parties access to current dance productions, films, documentaries and background information. tanz:digital offers a media technology portal for streaming and exchanging information.
