In addition to the theatrical performances of the Innsbruck Festival «Olimpiade», «La fida ninfa» and «Juditha triumphans», there is also a variety of concerts to experience. Soprano Francesca Aspromonte and the ensemble La Floridiana spread baroque splendor and joie de vivre at Schloss Ambras. In the concert ‘La primadonna’ the versatile singer slips into the role of Francesca Cuzzoni, who shone on the London stages during Handel's time. On the stage in the Spanish Hall of Schloss Ambras, soprano Giulia Semenzato will also be performing with the Swedish Drottningholmsteaterns Orchestra in the concert ‘Die Ungezähmten’. She already caused enthusiasm among audiences and the press in the 2016 Cimarosa opera ‘Il matrimonio segreto’.

It becomes reverent in the Jesuit Church when Norwegian mezzo-soprano Marianne Beate Kielland performs with Concerto Italiano under the direction of Rinaldo Alessandrini the concert ‘Stabat mater’, and Tommaso Traetta’s oratorio ‘Rex Salomon’ will be staged at the Haus der Musik with an all-female cast of singers. Conducted by the French master Christophe Rousset, the 2019 Cesti winner, mezzo-soprano Grace Durham and soprano Suzanne Jerosme, among others, can be heard alongside the Tyrolean vocal ensemble NovoCanto and the Theresia Orchestra.

The festive conclusion will be set by Alessandro De Marchi himself. Together with the internationally acclaimed virtuoso Antoine Tamestit, he presents highlights of the ‘Red Priest’ in his final concert.
