Special Presentation: Taking Risks
Accentus Music, the Gothenburg Symphony, and Barbara Hannigan invite the participants of this year’s Avant Première to a Special Presentation.
In the documentary project entitled “Barbara Hannigan – Taking Risks”, Accentus Music and the Gothenburg Symphony accompany Barbara Hannigan preparing her first opera production as a conductor and recruiting the singer cast through a very personal selection process in the framework of her new project “Equilibrium”.
The film follows all stages of the production, starting with the entire casting process and the very first auditions and culminating in the premiere of the semi-staged production of Stravinsky's “The Rake’s Progress” in Gothenburg in December 2018.
On February 19th, 2018 at 18h30, Barbara Hannigan will be present for a Special Presentation about this exciting project hosted by Accentus Music and the Gothenburg Symphony, which will include a trailer and a Q&A.
