The winner for Best Live Performance Capture went to HOFESH SHECHTER’S POLITICAL MOTHER: THE FINAL CUT for the kinetic interactions of the cinematography, choreography and sound score.
Best Art/Experimental Film was awarded to ELEVEN DEGREES OF FREEDOM, a groundbreaking expression of movement, realized through astounding cutting-edge technology.
Best Screendance Film Over 10 Minutes went to SUCK IT UP for its powerful critique of toxic masculinity.
TAJABONE was awarded Best Screendance Film Under 10 Minutes for its transcendental celebration of radical self-expression.
Finally, Best Student Film was awarded to FAREWELL, a beautiful, compelling dance story about the collective memories of a culture in transition.
