SF Dance Film Festival Announces 2024 Awards

The San Francisco Dance Film Festival presents the awards for its 15th annual festival.

The San Francisco Dance Film Festival (SFDFF) is honored to present the awards for its 2024 Festival. Selected from over 90 films from nearly 30 countries, these winners were determined by 2024 Award Jury Members Reid Bartelme, Frances Chung, Stéphane Glynn, Jeremy Jacob, and Caitlin Sims. The 2024 Award Winners are:

Art/Experimental Film: Luce (Canada, 2023), directed and choreographed by Valeria Galluccio.

Documentary Feature: Pol Pot Dancing (Germany, 2023), directed by Enrique Sánchez Lansch.

Documentary Short: Caravane (Canada, 2024), directed by Robin Pineda Gould, choreographed by Élodie et Séverine Lombardo.

Live Performance Capture: Peaky Blinders: The Redemption of Thomas Shelby (United Kingdom, 2023), directed and choreographed by Benoit Swan Pouffet.

Narrative Film: Two to Tango (Belgium, 2022), directed by Dimitri Sterkens, choreographed by Anibal Lautaro.

Screendance Under 10 Minutes: Morning Interlude (France, 2024), directed by Sirius, choreographed by Mès Lesne.

Screendance Over 10 Minutes: Refuge (Canada, 2023), directed by Marlene Millar, choreographed by Sandy Silva.

Student Film: Without Her (Islamic Republic of Iran, 2024), directed by Sadra Kazemeyni, choreographed by Yasaman Mirzaei.
