Rodion Shchedrin. The 85th anniversary

The great composer will be honored by Mikhail Pletnev and RNO, as well as by Mariinsky Symphony Orchestra conducted by Valery Gergiev.

Rodion Shchedrin has long established himself as one of the champions of classical music both in Russia and internationally. His works are among the most sought after, performed and published pieces of modern music performed by world's top notch musicians. Moscow Philharmonic Society will celebrate the great composer's anniversary with four performances at Tchaikovsky Concert Hall.
