New Year's Eve Concert 2016
For this year's New Year's Eve concert, the Berliner Philharmoniker and Sir Simon Rattle will join forces with the brilliant pianist Daniil Trifonov.
The London Times describes Daniil Trifonov as the "the most astounding young pianist of our age". Not surprising that Trifonov will interpret Sergei Rachmaninov's "Piano Concerto No. 3 in D minor, Op. 30", which is considered the most difficult piano concerto of all time by many. Simon Rattle will also present the famous "Slavonic Dances" by Antonín Dvo?ák as well as works by Walton and Kabalevsky.
