New on takt1: Faust and Queyras
Isabelle Faust and Jean-Guihen Queyras with baroque music from Konzerthaus Dortmund.
Baroque contemplation in the vastness of the empty concert hall: Exclusively for the live stream audience at home, violinist Isabelle Faust and cellist Jean-Guihen Queyras play a subtly composed program of baroque masterpieces at Konzerthaus Dortmund.
In the first half, Isabelle Faust will dedicate herself to works for solo violin. In the second half, selected solo suites for violoncello by Johann Sebastian Bach will follow. An intimate, inner dialogue, also on a higher level with God, for whom Bach composed his music. A program full of urgent messages in a decelerated time.
