Mehlspeis' of the day: Süße Knödel
The dish that comes in all sizes and flavours – but one shape only. The Austrian version of a round dumpling, eaten both sweet and not-so-sweet. Süße (sweet) Knödel usually involve a quark-based dough surrounding a fruit filling and covered in sugar and breadcrumbs. Yummy!
