The German Dance Award is the most prestigious prize for dance in Germany and has been awarded annually since 1983 as part of a festive dance gala.
This year, Marco Goecke and Christoph Winkler will each receive the German Dance Award 2022, while Reinhild Hoffmann and the association Aktion Tanz will be honored.
The Dance Gala will take place on 15 October 2022 at the Aalto-Theater in Essen, Germany.
