Live on takt1: New Year's Concert conducted by Andrés Orozco-Estrada
At the end of the year, takt1 will be live-streaming first-class concerts from the Wiener Konzerthaus like the great New Year’s Concert of the Wiener Symphoniker conducted by Andrés Orozco-Estrada.
At the end of the year, takt1 will be live-streaming not one but two first-class concerts from the Wiener Konzerthaus: On December 6th 2018, Fazıl Say with the Camerata Salzburg, and on January 1st 2019, the great New Year’s Concert of the Wiener Symphoniker conducted by Andrés Orozco-Estrada. It marks the next step in the ongoing exclusive cooperation between takt1 and the Wiener Konzerthaus.
It’s hard to imagine a more emphatic start to the new year: Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, with its euphoric choral finale, offers a message of hope for a peaceful 2019. All men shall become brothers, taking one another by the hand and celebrating together. The soloists are Regula Mühlemann, Florian Boesch, Dorottya Lang and Steve Davislim - Andrés Orozco-Estrada conducts the Wiener Symphoniker: Happy New Year!
All takt1 live streams are also available as video on demand after the original broadcast.
