Live on takt1: Fazıl Say with the Camerata Salzburg
At the end of the year, takt1 will be live-streaming first-class concerts from the Wiener Konzerthaus like on December 6th 2018, Fazıl Say with the Camerata Salzburg.
At the end of the year, takt1 will be live-streaming not one but two first-class concerts from the Wiener Konzerthaus: On December 6th 2018, Fazıl Say with the Camerata Salzburg, and on January 1st 2019, the great New Year’s Concert of the Wiener Symphoniker conducted by Andrés Orozco-Estrada. It marks the next step in the ongoing exclusive cooperation between takt1 and the Wiener Konzerthaus.
The December 6th program features Ludwig van Beethoven’s great "Emperor" concerto. Beethoven’s final piano concerto gives the soloist plenty of freedom, and who better to explore its possibilities than Fazıl Say, one of the most headstrong pianists of his generation? It is followed by Mozart’s final Salzburg Seranade, with its famous posthorn solo. A program of familiar works, cast in an unfamiliar light.
All takt1 live streams are also available as video on demand after the original broadcast.
