Live on medici.tv: Isaphilarmonie opening concert!
08 OCT 2021: medici.tv will livestream the inaugural concert at the Isarphilarmonie in Munich, on Friday, October 8 at 20:00 CEST!
The Munich Philharmonic is officially moving to Munich's newly created concert hall, the Isarphilharmonie. To inaugurate this contemporary concert hall, Daniil Trifonov, The Philharmonic Chorus of Munich, and Valery Gergiev will make special appearances on stage, all live on medici.tv! Tune in on medici.tv on October 8, at 20:00 CET.
In the program: "Arising Dances", a commissioned work and world premiere by Thierry Escaich, Beethoven's Concerto for Piano and Orchestra No. 4, Henry Dutilleux' "Métaboles", followed by "Nouvelle Oeuvre" by Shchedrin, and finally Ravel's Daphnis et Chloé, Suite n°2.
