An all-star line-up for an operatic classic: Puccini’s Tosca comes to Festival Cap Rocat with a cast boasting rare vocal firepower. Norwegian soprano Lise Davidsen takes the title role, with Freddie De Tommaso as Tosca’s lover, the painter Cavaradossi. French baritone Ludovic Tézier appears in one of his signature roles as the vengeful, manipulative police chief Scarpia. Together, they bring three of today’s leading opera voices to one of the repertoire’s most gripping dramas of love, power, faith and violence. Filmed in August 2026, Pablo Mielgo conducts the Symphony Orchestra of the Balearic Islands in the breathtaking setting of Cap Rocat, Mallorca. Combining an exceptional cast with one of Puccini’s greatest masterpieces, this concert performance promises to be a major operatic event.
