New music by Ariane Gray Hubert
"Ivre D'Amour" new album (2016) beyond the classical worlds of world music, jazz & classical for Vocal, Piano, Indian Percussions & Strings from East.
From Ariane Gray Hubert’s previous album "Piano Rag(a) Time" to her latest album and release "Ivre D'Amour" in October 2016, the musical journey of the French American musician and composer goes well beyond the classical worlds of world music, jazz and classical. "Ivre D'Amour" is a tribute to peace and unity in our contemporary world.
Ariane Gray Hubert will give a series of concerts for the prestigious Festival 'Namaste France' under the patronage of the Indian Embassy in Paris in October 2016.
For vocal, piano, Indian percussions and ancient instruments from the East, the music is a tribute to both western and eastern traditions composed and improvised by Ariane Gray Hubert. With her new ensemble, the music travels from old sacred chants to selected ragas with some western influences set in new, catchy cycles of rhythms and melodies. But don't expect to hear ragas duplicated on Ariane's piano! More details on the site of the artist: www.arianegrayhubert.com; contact(at)arianegrayhubert.com
